Hi Nathalie,
Thanks so much. I’ll be purchasing your ebook and look forward to the support. I have had herpes since 1981, obtained as a young woman and endured through two marriages. My current husband has antibodies to one, I have antibodies to both, so he could still potentially “catch” the second strain. I’m perimenopausal and under lots of stress so I think I’ve finally hit my limit of tolerance and am ready for a new strategy. I have great admiration for all your work and research and look forward to “collaborating” as one who will apply your solutions with gratitude. My doctor encouraged me to take a drug but I declined, having heard that the efficacy was weak. Meanwhile 2 of my friends have contracted herpes recently – and so I have others that I want to support as well. Oh, and it was your comment about side affects from Lysine that got my attention – I swear I have been having irregular heart rhythm (nobody can verify that) and I’ve stopped taking Lysine after reading your concerns. I had been dosing Lysine 1000 mg+/day very regularly and it wasn’t really helping. Since I’ve stopped, the funny odd heartbeats have diminished. I appreciate your posting about that. <3

By the way, Almonds are considered a fruit not a nut, as told by my homeopathic pediatrician here in CA. My son is allergic to nuts, but not almonds. (Some kids are allergic to nuts and almonds, too) It is pretty interesting to read your almond-skin story but also know it might be a trigger for some. hmmm? Nature can sure be tricky.
Nathalie says: For those who don’t know what you are talking about, please let me place a link to the article here. To be honest, this study really surprised me. I guess they will be selling almond skin extracts soon but I still do not recommend eating almonds during an outbreak. Actually, almond seems to be considered as a seed rather than a fruit but the result is the same, no almonds during outbreaks.

Thank you, Nathalie, for all the information and support. It is super hard to find a trusted source. I am on again/off again with my own research and it never really adds up or feels like I am doing the right thing. I know emotions/stress are my biggest triggers. I am in the midst of separating with a young child and that is very stressful at times. I try to be preventative, but sometimes it slips through the cracks with all that is going on in my life. I took 1500mg Lysine every day for over a year, and then learned it can contribute to gallstones. (Do you know if it is worth taking Lysine when I’m feeling symptoms or is it the kind of thing you need to build up in your body before it is effective?) I plan to only take it when I think I feel symptoms or think I might. I took acyclovir for about a year as suppression, mostly. It never seemed to work when I had an outbreak. And I felt horrible taking five a day for five days with an outbreak. Maybe I didn’t catch it soon enough? I stopped that pill, too. I pay close attention to what I eat, but admittedly, the huge list of foods I’ve compiled that I shouldn’t eat is daunting and unrealistic. I don’t eat any processed foods, nuts, or coffee for sure. You mention tea is not so good, does that include white tea? White tea (very little caffeine) is pretty healthy from what I’ve read. I might try that. The rest of foods come and go in moderation. There has got to be a better balance, though.
Now I feel like you might have information that will help me find that balance. I’ve had herpes for six years. I break out about every three – four months. Any bit of hope is helpful.
Thanks for all your efforts!
Nathalie Says:
Thanks for your trust Lee! I can definitely help you.
Lysine is not good for you long-term. Actually, I was the first to say that when I first got on the internet. At the time, everybody was talking about how great lysine was for you. Actually, I am glad that most therapists have now come back to their senses and are warning of the long-term side effects of lysine as well. You can use lysine to help abort an outbreak though but just for a few days.
It is impossible to have a perfect diet, at least for me and I don’t expect you to. That is why I gave you this report about triggers. Triggers are the key elements to my herpes freedom strategy (at least during the first 6 months). When several are present you must absolutely watch your diet. When they are not, you can have more of the things you like even chocolate. That’s why knowing your triggers are so important at least at first.
White tea is closer to herbal tea than all the others because it has not been smoked or fermented and contains very little amounts of caffeine so I think it should be OK to have some. Actually, I have recommended white tea as the best tea alternative from the beginning. I intuitively felt that anything smoked could not be so great for the health. My advice is it is best you stay off white tea during outbreaks and when three or more of your triggers are present.

Also i always wanted to know this… are herpes zosters contagious? I do have them sometimes and they do not have the prodome of herpes rashes. Also is that notmal that i have my outbreaks after my periods?
Nathalie Says:
Herpes is contagious once it reaches the skin whether symptoms are noticeable or not. If you have symptoms, you are contagious. Are you sure you are talking about herpes zoster?
Women tend to have herpes symptoms before or during their periods because of hormonal changes. In your situation the fatigue caused by menstruation may be a reason. If you suffer from heavy bleeding during menstruation you should take Spirulina as a supplement and look for herbal and homeopathic remedies that regulate menstrual flow.

I really love the sample…personally i think it is less overwhelming than Herpes Wise. When i bought herpes wise these were the kind of information i was hoping for, this sample is very detailed and i felt like i was talking to you face to face. Also i was a bit surprised with these new findings about tea and other foods that were supposedly good in the first book. To be honest i started to feel really frustrated not to mentioned that i was drinking tea every day, exercised and did the aromatherapy and all during my outbreak with no real results. Nonetheless to say i am very excited about this new book and i cant wait to have it.
Nathalie Says:
I think I have grown and learned and that my on going conversation with all my readers has helped me understand how to help them better.
It is also true that my point of view on tea has drastically changed throughout the years, through practice and research. That is one of the reasons why I have decided to write this update.
Herpes Antidote is much more a formula than a reference book and I think you should find it much easier to use. You may not know it but I do give on line support to the readers who request it. Please contact me personally if you need extra support from me. I want you to enjoy a herpes outbreak free life like all the others.

Hi. I have lived with herpes for 8 years now,and I felt very shamefull for a long long time. I had lots and lots of outbrakes, and got sick every time. After a while not speaking to anyone about it I desided to talk to a doktor about it…I got very suppriced how little the doktor knew about the virus. I felt I knew more about it then him! I got outbrakes behind my kne and on my upper leg,and he told me it vas not possible. I know now it is very possible. I started to learn to live with the virus, but in 2007 i got pregnant with my son and then all the trouble started again. I got a lot of different answers about the virus again, and the doktors did never agree. When my son got born he was sick, not becouse of the virus but something else. I delivered naturaly with medication,I got terrifide of the virus and very scared of giving my son the virus when I changed and washed him.I vas thinking: what if I havent washed my fingers good egnuf after showering and toilet visits…I was so scared that I got even more sick .So I really agree with u when u say feelings can make you sick. then I came over youre page, and i bought youre first book…THANK YOU
Im not that scared anymore, and Ive started to enjoying my life again. And I even told some of my friends about my situashion to. In my case Im shure that positiv thinking is the key to prevent the virus, and not be ashamed of it. just think all the people in the world that walks around with hpvs 1 on the lips, and they are not as ashamed as many of us are . So why should we be any different then them. the only differense is that we have it down there, but it is the same virus. STOP THE SHAME,THEN U STOP THE OUTBRAKES.
THANK U AGAIN FOR GETTING ME TROUG A HARD TIME:) and sorry about the spelling,a long time since Ive written any english.

Super guidance. Calls may attention that tea should not be considered in the diet even though it is considered an antioxidant.

Nathalie, you are so generous with your time and knowledge, sharing so much of what you’ve learned about herpes for free. It’s so so rare to find that anywhere. It’s a great marketing tool, even if you don’t do it for that reason (and I don’t think you do), because now I can’t wait to finally be able to give you some money for all your hard work and invaluable information! Thank you so much.
Nathalie says: Thank you for your enthusiasm Ruby!
Marketing? Honestly, I wish I was good but I suck at it (pardon my French). What matters to me is that you enjoyed your report and that you will use me to make your life better. You can call that marketing. I call that love. I have built my business this way and it seems to make everyone very happy including me.
Lots of love to you

I have read your sample of your book and I am very interested in what you have written. As one who is new to the herpes virus, I still feel the shame and fear of it all. I am learning to change diet but still learning thingsthat you can eat or not. Its thanks to dedicated people like yourself that someone like myself can again begin to feel ‘normal’ again so I thank you
